"Feed the Shark" Activity

Co-Operation, Numeration, Literacy, Comparison

For this activity I combined the interest that children demonstrated in sharks and in concepts such as colours, number, and letters .

How is it made?

The shark was made from grey and black card stock paper. The eyes were drawn on with a black marker. The entire shark was then lamented.

The fish were also made with card stock paper and lamented.

Any box can be used. The shark can be taped or glued on the edge of the box.

On the bigger fish...

A number is written on one side and a capital letter is written on the other.

On the smaller fish...

The colour word was written on one side and the lower case letter was written on the other side.
