Print out fun Easter activity worksheets for the children including word searches, colour by number/sight words, etc. The children will work on these while they wait for their eggs to dye and dry!

On a separate table in the classroom set up the station where the children will dye their hard-boiled eggs. Call up 2-3 children at a time and ask them to gently place an egg in the colour they want. Make sure you write down the children's name and the colours they chose! Each child can do 2 eggs each! Dye both eggs at the same time.

The eggs will take about 5 minutes to dye, depending on how dark you want the colour!

After 5 minutes, place the eggs on a paper towel on each child's desk. Let them dry over recess and when then come back in, they can use markers and stickers to decorate!

You can use any other materials to decorate as well. The jewel stickers were very popular amongst all the children !

Set up:

Place materials in containers that can be shared amongst small groups!

When it comes to stickers, like the jewel ones, cut out an equal amount of rows for each child and place them on each desk.

The final product

Happy easter!
